OPENING SEQUENCE
The Menehunes return to their old island home in the Pacific, surfing on the beam of light which is Princess Hala herself.
Tremendous light energy is relased when the Menehunes crash into the sea.
Seven surfers almost perish in the ensuing tidal wave but survive when they are magically transformed into animal spirits by the Menehunes. There is much to be learned in this timeless world.
When the wave and danger have passed, humans transform back and all surf ashore on Princess Hala's light-bridge.

OH, BROTHER!
A powerful and greedy developer is buying up all the islands.
The crotchety old beachcomber, the Big Kahuna, is warned in dreamtime that his island is next, and when he appeals to the gods for help, they send him the Menehunes - 5 mystical creatures who will teach the Chosen Seven, (a diverse group of island surfers), of the extraordinary power of combining the use of all their senses. The fact that only the Kahuna and the Chosen Seven can see the Menehunes causes some hilarious and challenging situations.
Things only heat up when the developer, Nick Landime, discovers that the owner of the prime real estate along the beach is not only the Kahuna but, this apparent bum, is actually his long lost brother!
The town puts out their most valiant effort to save the beach and Kahuna Cove, and when it seems Nick is just too powerful and all may be lost, the Menehunes lead the Chosen Seven to discover the secret of hidden powers that save their precious island home in the end.

the mysterious voice of reason (the Menehunes hanging out inside the Karaoke mic) helps Francesco when he is torn between loyalty to his family or his friends.

Guy-Man-Dude feels he might finally fit in with his surfing friends but at what price? The junk-food-loving croc is a hard secret to keep.

Everyone's parents has a different idea of measuring the success of their children.
Bonsai's globe-trotting, over-bearing parents feel his buiding sandcastles is waste of time.
Cam Man never knew his parents and has always lived under the stars.
Francesco felt lost and disconnected in his family's enormous estate in Argentina.
When the Menehunes move into one of Bonsai's masterfully built sand castles, it seems everyone's opinion of what a home should be is all washed up.
